Mexican National Pleads Guilty to Illegal Reentry in Oklahoma After Two Deportations

Previously Deported Mexican National Pleads Guilty to Unlawful Reentry in Wagoner County, Oklahoma
MUSKOGEE, OKLAHOMA – A Mexican national who illegally reentered the United States after being deported twice has pleaded guilty in federal court. Ivone Monforte Leal, also known as Yvonne Monforte and Ivonne Monforte Stefany, age 34, admitted to the charge of Unlawful Reentry of a Removed Alien in the Eastern District of Oklahoma.
Leal, who was unlawfully residing in Wagoner County, Oklahoma, faces up to 10 years in federal prison and a maximum fine of $250,000 for the immigration violation.
According to court documents, Leal was discovered in the U.S. on March 26, 2025, after previously being deported on two separate occasions. She had not received authorization from the Secretary of Homeland Security to reenter the United States.
The case was investigated by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security – Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the Wagoner County Sheriff’s Office.
This prosecution is part of Operation Take Back America, a Department of Justice initiative targeting unlawful immigration, drug cartels, and transnational criminal organizations (TCOs). The operation draws on resources from the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF) and Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN) to enhance community safety and enforce immigration laws.
The Honorable Gerald L. Jackson, U.S. Magistrate Judge, accepted the plea and ordered a presentence investigation report. Sentencing will be determined by a U.S. District Court Judge after reviewing federal sentencing guidelines and relevant legal factors.
Leal is currently in custody of the U.S. Marshals Service awaiting sentencing.
